Wow! Long time no post!
Ok, this isn’t the first time I’ve done this, but I’ve just got caught up in real-world things and let my website go to waste. Now, thanks to this recession, this website is costing more and more to host each month (dreamhost haven’t changed their, but the pound is weaker than ever). When i signed up, it was costing me £5-6 per month, whereas now, it’s costing £7-8. Not a huge jump I know, but enough to make me want to make more use of the space.
So, it’s been seven months and the last thing I posted about was the iPhone. I still don’t have one, but i get to play with them at work all the time.
Here’s a picture of the first demo one into the shop I work in, taken the night before they went on sale. We had ones we could play with a couple of days before the launch.
Since that, we’ve seen a few more eagerly anticipated phones released such as the Nokia N96, which is nice but nothing special over the N95. There’s also the Blackberry Bold, which is very pretty but has been pretty hard to get hold of. We’ve seen the first few 8MP phones come out, starting with the Samsung i8510 and the Sony Ericsson C905. Not forgetting the LG Renoir and the rest of them which are all very nice too.
Outside the world of mobiles, we’ve seen the new iPods, MacBooks and MacBook Pros; Microsoft Surface still hasn’t reached mainstream distribution; Airbus has started delivering it’s long awaited A380 superjumbo and I have started playing around in a “real” programming language.
In website news, we’ve just updated to the newest version of WordPress and i’m currently playing with a few new plugins offline. In the mean time, keep your eyes on http://njhd.co.uk
